ON SITE CATERING

With our on site catering service using our 48”x24” custom built Santa Maria style BBQ we can take your event to a new level with the sights and smells of an authentic open fire BBQ. We’re sure to leave your guests with more than just full bellies, but an event they will truly remember.

All of our tri-tip is sliced to order (including a staffed carving station for buffet service) to ensure maximum freshness and juiciness. We offer the largest selection of specially crafted tri-tip sandwiches, authentic Santa Maria style BBQ menu items and other regional offerings that the Santa Barbara area is famous for such as the abundance of local seafood, all cooked over a traditional red oak fire. Pick some sandwiches, choose one of our preset menus or create your own menu from out expanded menu options for an authentic BBQ experience.

Tight on space? Short on time? No problem! With our drop off service we’ll cook off site and deliver your ready to eat food anywhere in the Santa Barbara and Goleta area. Perfect for corporate lunches, smaller gatherings, or taking credit amongst your friends for a truly epic BBQ meal.

Our Story

Oak and Fire is a tri-tip sandwich company, first and foremost, with some unique offerings that are familiar yet innovative. It‘s tri-tip seasoned Santa Maria style, cooked over red oak and then used for a menu of several styles of sandwiches. Some very traditional, some very unique, but all of them grounded in the flavors of the central coast. You‘ll recognize old favorites but can also try something new.

We found an opportunity to create a great, traditional tri-tip sandwich that we all grew up with in backyards and high school football games, but then we asked why stop there? Not only could we create a sandwich that does justice to the Santa Maria style BBQ that we know and love, but could we also expand on it? Do something new and take it even further? So we kept experimenting, kept creating, and kept BBQ‘ing but making sure we stayed true to what it‘s all about all along.

The result was not only a tri-tip sandwich that is true to its roots, authentic, and familar for so many of us, but also some expanded offerings that build on that, rather than replace it. It‘s a menu that is somehow familiar and unique at the same time, and we‘re excited to show people what Santa Maria style tri-tip sandwiches should be, and what they can be.
